Band History
to cut a short story even shorter it started with josh and michael, who in turn asked graham to join them, then dan was asked to join. they practiced hard for their first gig at a school rock night which went well. pete radcliffe played bass that night, kindly loaned from wicked band re-hab. the band were then left bass-less and were being offered spots at gigs. graham opted to play bass, but then the band realised it would be more fun if everyone got to swap about and get their instruments. this continued for quite a while until the 19/06/03 when josh decided to leave the band because of certain arangements/disagreements. in a fit of panic dan decided he would have to try and play bass and sing, which he did very succesfully and saved the day. but then leigh (of the storybook ending) said he would play bass for us and he is. which is always nice. anyway this lasted a while, and this line up even played at the wolves little civic in the battle of the bands 2003. at the end of novemeber 2003, after a 10 month period in the band dan felt it was time to part ways and continue his musical career with rogue faction. this also pointed to leighs span with the band to end. sadened by the split, but not dishearted, graham and michael vowed to continue the band. appealing locally, the band recieved some positive response, and accepted help from abi boyle (ex-corroners) to take up the bass, however this was not to be. another quiet period for the band was spent until alan hughes, who graham met at college, gave an intrest in the band. thanks to matt strangwood for the introduction! so anyway, alan tried out, showed graham and michael that he could easily fill the shoes of previous bassists and was accepted into the drivingblind clan. it was in about april when the band decided a new image was required for the band and the site kinda thing. the name 'punctual if nothing else' was came up with and was kept for its genius comedy value and cheesy-ness. the band are still looking for a permenant singer though.... the story goes on. and relax.
